호프브로이는 독일을 상징하는 맥주집중 하나이며, '궁정 맥주 양조장' 이라는 뜻이라고 한다.
예전에 이곳이 국왕의 직영 맥주공장이었기 때문에 이런 이름이 붙여졌다한다. 지금은 뮌휀
의 대형 비어홀로 변신해 뮌헨은 몰라도 이곳 만큼은 누구나 아는 유명장소가 되었다.

Hauptbahnhof is one of the famous beer houses in Germany, it means a "brewery of the king".
Before this place was direct a factory to make a beer for the king, so this beer house was got a this name.
Now it changed the big beer hall, so this place became famous place where anybody know at.
